Mums. We quite literally would not be here without them. Finding the perfect Mother’s Day gift is always tricky, because how do you say thank you for years of answering your embarrassingly simple questions, like is the dishwasher meant to make that noise?
We have the perfect guide to Mother’s Day gifts for you
(even if you left it last minute…no judgement)
SHE'S A 'COOL MUM'
She’s not a regular mom, she’s a cool mom! She loves a dance and a drink, and your friends always ask when she’ll join you all for girl’s night. There’s a strong chance they might want to hang out with her more than you, but honestly you get it.
The answer: Bottomless Brunch and Melbourne Winery! Saturdays at 1:30pm or 4:30 with 2 hours of unlimited wine and a delish meal, for only $65?? It’s a steal in our eyes, and you know mum would love an experience more than a pair of socks.

THE ALWAYS-ACTIVE MUM
She’s up at sunrise for a run and somehow back before you even wake up. She does more by 7am than most people do with their whole day. I genuinely have no idea how she does it, but she’s my hero.
Join her for a workout! My recommendation: take her to a puppy Pilates class. Even if you’re embarrassingly out of shape (guilty) and exhausted 30 seconds in, at least you have cute puppies to cuddle with!! And if that’s not the perfect workout, then I don’t know what is.
THE SENTIMENTAL MUM
She’s surprisingly reminiscent of all the annoying things you did a kid and gets teary every time she hears ‘Slipping Through My Fingers’ by ABBA. There’s about 43 photos of you around the house and not a single one is flattering. Bless her heart.
Gift her something handmade! Make a photo album with all your favourite memories together and add a handwritten letter telling her how much you appreciate her. If she’s still cherishing your shitty art from kindergarten, she’s bound to love it.
If you don’t have a crafty bone in your body (much like me), go for a digital photo frame! You can set it up together, mum can have all her favourite photos of you on display and you can filter out every photo from your 13 year-old awkward phase. Win-win!
Whatever you get her, add a box of tissues. Trust me.

THE MUM 'WHO DOESN'T NEED ANYTHING'
She’s always on top of everything and refuses help no matter how much you offer it. So what do you get the woman who doesn’t need anything??
Spoiler: There is something she needs. Sleep. Rest. Relaxation. Did I mention sleep?
Give her an at home spa day! Think candles, fresh pyjamas, a facemask while sipping on a glass of rosé. Even throw in some lavender essential oils and a diffuser so she can keep the calm vibes going every day. I’m relaxed just thinking about it.
Force her to finally take some time for herself, no matter how much arguing it takes. She’ll be grateful and truly rejuvenated by the end of it.
THE WINE MUM
She’s unapologetically herself. Unbothered. You’ll find her on the couch with a glass of red in hand. Honestly? I want to be her when I grow up.
For her, stick to what she loves: WINE. Take her to our Sundays at the Cellar wine tasting this Mother’s Day! Let her try our 30+ wines to her hearts content, and who knows, maybe she’ll fall in love with a new white wine (but she’ll probably stick to her pinot).
Make it more special with unlimited food on top of that. Oh, and did I mention there’s complimentary tiramisu, made live in front of you?? It’s literally the dream.
And if that wasn’t enough, all mums on Mother’s Day get a FREE bottle of wine!! We’re taking the guess work out of picking the perfect bottle since she gets to sample everything before she picks (you’re welcome). Dare I say, it’s the perfect Mother’s Day gift
